Campello Properties
Villas, apartments and plots for sale in Campello
Campello is a little known typical Spanish town lazily stretching itself along 6 kilometres of the beautiful Mediterranean coastline. Originally a fishing village it now has the benefit of the attractive Paseo Maritime, a largely pedestrian walk way between the beach and the many and various bars and restaurants lining the sea front.
MARINA
To the north end lays the very pleasant marina port with its mixture of fishing boats and modern sailing and sports craft. Beautifully landscaped and easily identified by the yellow stone ‘Martello’ tower, the symbol of Campello. The local yacht club, ‘Club Nautico de Campello’ makes visitors welcome at its first class restaurant and bar and in the less formal café area.
ACCESS
The 10 kilometre journey by car from Alicante international airport takes just minutes along the motorway.
TRANSPORTATION: TRAIN - BUS - TAXI
Campello is unique in its ease of transportation to surrounding districts and attractions. The road system is really excellent. The major national coast road N332 lies within minutes, and the new European motorway E15 linking the whole of Spain is just a little further inland.
A very convenient train service stretches north to Denia and travels south down through Alicante and onwards, with a stop close to the international airport.
A regular bus service also operates to Alicante only 10 kilometres south and to Benidorm, 28 kilometres north.
INVESTMENT
A major new attraction to the area, and one that is about to set property values ablaze, is the Great Universal Studio theme park, ‘Terre Mitila’. Already rivalling the Disney World theme park close to Paris, this attraction with its all year round good weather lies immediately inland from Benidorm. The park is only 26 kilometres from Campello, just one junction along the motorway.
Anyone looking at taking advantage of rapid appreciation of property for both investment and income, is well advised to take an early look at this area.
The kids will love you for it!
ALONG THE COAST
Immediately south of Campello beachfront is the quaintly named Playa Muchavista (The beach with the big view) with its golden sandy beaches. Along the coast to the north is the prestigious gathering of first and second line sea front homes called Coverta Fuma with its rocky shoreline. Further north is the town of Villajoyosa followed by the well known town of Benidorm with its vast array of beautiful shops and exciting nightlife. It really is a very wonderful town but you might want to avoid it in July and August.
COUNTRYSIDE
Inland some 6 and 8 kilometres from Campello, in the foothills of the Sierra de la Cabeco, lay the twin townships of Busot and Aiuges de Busot. The properties here are very much rustic style fincas and generally have fantastic panoramic views of the local mountains. The solitude and rural lifestyle make this an attractive alternative.
